Acoma Pueblo Pokemon
This series of illustrations combines my love of my Acoma Pueblo heritage with my adoration for the Pokemon franchise. The world of Pokemon fascinated me since I was a child and I drew countless Pokemon throughout my life. The world building in Pokemon is one of the aspects that keeps me coming back to the series. With that in mind I always pondered what role Pokemon would play in a world like the one I grew up in.
My take on creatures from the world of Pokemon even received recognition from Junichi Masuda, a director, composer, and producer for the Pokemon franchise.
